Got space in your diary over the weekend of 14-17th September? With organised climbs, scenic alpine trail runs and stunning hikes run by local guides and sponsored athletes, The North Face Mountain Festival sounds like a dream weekend to me (sorry, kids!)

What is it?
Basically it’s an epic outdoor adventure weekend set in the climbing, running and hiking playground of Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. Think camping (warm showers + toilets) with fellow explorers at the foot of the Staubbach waterfall (aka Basecamp), inspiring talks, adventure films and workshops hosted by The North Face – everything from adventure photography to how to cook up a wilderness feast – and organised climbs, runs and hikes.

What activities can I do?
Rock face climbs, alpine runs and hikes are organised by local guides and sponsored athletes. On top of these core activities, there’s scope for additional fun via canyoning, rafting, paragliding and bungee jumping.

What’s included?
All core activities (organised climbs, trail runs and hikes), camping and use of all facilities (bring your own tent), all basecamp workshops and talks, breakfast all weekend, dinner on Saturday night, plus all evening entertainment (live music, movies and talks).

How much?
Standard ticket is €249. Buy your ticket here
